* TERMS OF RESERVATION The terms of reservation set out herein bind you within the meaning that you accept these terms as terms of a contract between you and MAGKOS MIKES and that you have the right to request from MAGKOS MIKES and/or its associates / suppliers the services that arise from the use of this website from the moment you successfully complete all the stages of the reservation procedure and any and all information and/or reports and/or approvals relative to the service are issued. * STAGES OF THE RESERVATION PROCEDURE The basic stages of a reservation that must be completed so that MAGKOS MIKES may proceed in issuing a reservation code and so that the terms set out herein may enter into effect are: A) Enter your search information and search for a hotel B) Select an available hotel and type of room C) Enter your reservation information (full name, e-mail, telephone, etc.) D) Enter the information and total charge of your credit card according to the total value of the reservation – service. E) Your reservation information will appear on screen (voucher) * PAYMENT You are charged in EUROS (€) and only after you have completed the reservation procedure Failure on your behalf to pay the price of the reservation due to incorrect or unauthorised use of the credit card or due to any other reason whatsoever will result in the cancellation of your reservation. If you wish, you may, of course, change the currency that is displayed on your computer. Foreign exchange rates are estimated automatically and may differ whereas they are estimated automatically based on the current exchange rates. This means that any variation in room rates may be due to this difference. Of course, no variation whatsoever may apply after the reservation procedure has been completed. The system’s foreign exchange rates are updated automatically by the mechanisms of the European Central Bank. * HOTEL INFORMATION – NOMENCLATURE – EVALUATION OF SERVICES This website displays the information of hotels as this is provided by the official data suppliers of MAGKOS MIKES or as this arises from descriptions provided by the owners thereof. MAGKOS MIKES does not substantially intervene in the content of this information. Room rates, availability or any other relative information (maps, specific distances, room and hotel services and any other facility of any nature whatsoever and incidental materials) may change or vary without prior notification. Specifically, however, as regards: A) the accuracy of room categories, B) room nomenclature AND C) the type, nomenclature, kind and quantity of meals MAGKOS MIKES does not bear any liability whatsoever in spite of the fact that it is bound to provide information that closely represents the above. We would like to inform you that deviations may arise in relation to the actual image or condition or provision of the services. Variations lie in the different approach or evaluation or practise of owners or government authorities. MAGKOS MIKES does not bear any liability whatsoever and is not liable for any variation or non-variation of this information during the performance of your service. * RESERVATION – CHANGES – CANCELLATION MAGKOS MIKES, via its website, provides you with all the tools and descriptions necessary to make a reservation. A reservation is completed successfully when all the stages of the reservation procedure, as these are described herein, are completed. In extraordinary cases in which the hotel is unable to immediately confirm your entire reservation and/or the provision of the specific type of room and/or meal that you requested, you will be notified, via e-mail, of any and all possible alternative solutions. MAGKOS MIKES does not bear any liability whatsoever beyond the provision of alternative solutions. If you do not accept the alternative solution that will be proposed to you, you may cancel your reservation without any financial burden and you will be refunded the entire amount with which you were charged. MAGKOS MIKES is obligated to refund you, via bank deposit, the entire amount with which you were charged in the case of a cancellation of an entire reservation to which the cancellation policy was not applied. It certain cases, changes may not be accepted due to either reasons of availability or the refusal of the hotel’s personnel or owners. In spite of this, MAGKOS MIKES will make every possible effort to satisfy your request for a change in your reservation. You will be charged a minimum amount of 20 Euros for any change that is made to your reservation. You may also be charged additional amounts by the hotelier (according to its cancellation policy). In general, in the case of a change in your reservation (type and number of rooms, names, ages, dates, etc.), you will be informed of the amount with which you will be charged, provided the change is accepted, prior to the final confirmation thereof. If, for any reason whatsoever, you decide to cancel your entire reservation, the terms set out in the cancellation policy, of which you were notified via this website and that you accepted during the reservation procedure, shall apply. The time at which you cancel your reservation will determine the amount that will be withheld from you, which will be returned to the corresponding data suppliers of MAGKOS MIKES. MAGKOS MIKES will make every possible effort, without, of course being bound and within the framework of understanding your problems, to forward your request (provided it deems this fair and reasonable) to a specific recipient supplier thereof so that it may negotiate better cancellation terms, but will refuse to pay you any compensation if your request is not accepted or if it is definitively deemed that you are not entitled to receive any compensation whatsoever according to its special rules and conventions. We explicitly note that MAGKOS MIKES does not have any responsibility whatsoever to refund you the amount with which you were charged whereas the entire amount that arises from the implementation of the cancellation policy is also claimable, on the basis of written agreements, by the corresponding data service organisations or companies. You may forward any complaint that you may have concerning the use of this website or the management or customer services of MAGKOS MIKES by e-mail or fax directly to the Department of Management of Tourist Services. Complaints that may arise during the performance of the services that you requested may be forwarded directly to our local agents (if such exist), the contact information of which are noted on the VOUCHER that will be sent to you, or to the hotel’s reservation services and, subsequently, to MAGKOS MIKES. MAGKOS MIKES is not liable for OVERBOOKINGS, OMISSIONS AND ERRORS BY THIRD PARTIES, INADEQUATE FULFILMENT OF OBLIGATIONS BY ITS SUPPLIERS OR LOCAL AGENTS, DELAYS IN ROUTES, SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES – CRISES OR NATURAL DESTRUCTIONS AND FOR any damage that you shall cause or any damage in which provenly you took part in, for violations of the special terms of the suppliers of MAGKOS MIKES, as well as for loss of life, money and items, for accidents, for illnesses, etc. MAGKOS MIKES is also not liable for any compensation and claim that you may have against third for any reason and at any time whatsoever. If you do not appear at the hotel (no show), the entire amount of your reservation will be withheld. Your request for a refund in the case in which the number of your overnight stays is less than your initial reservation may be satisfied only if this is accepted in writing by the hotel. You will be required to pay the value of any and all services that are not included on your voucher, which you must deliver to the hotel, prior to your departure, to the hotel. You are fully liable for any falsification, in any manner whatsoever, of the data and information that is noted on your voucher. You will be required to settle the value of your reservation and of any and all additional services that you may have requested online or via telephone or via e-mail or fax from MAGKOS MIKES or from any of its associates prior to your arrival at the hotel. MAGKOS MIKES shall not be bound by any understanding or agreement that shall take place between you and the hotel’s owners or personnel concerning a refund if the said consultation understanding or agreement is not communicated in writing to and it is not accepted by MAGKOS MIKES. The number of persons that have the right to use the service is that which is noted on the voucher. The hotel reserves the right to prohibit additional persons from staying in the room that you have booked. In any case in which an increase in the price of your initial charge, which arises from a change in the initial number of persons of your reservation, is permitted, you will be required to pay the said increase directly to the hotel. * OTHER INFORMATION The reservation system of this website sets the age of minors at 12 years of age. You shall be required to pay any and all differences that arise in the estimation of the value of a minor’s participation in a room (additional charge) directly to the hotel. You are responsible for any and all insurance coverages (travelling, medical), legalising documents, such as passports and visas, and any and all necessary medical examinations that you may require.
